President Barack Obama has come forward to speak out amid publicized rioting in Baltimore, Maryland this week following the funeral of local man Freddie Gray.
Speaking at a press conference Tuesday (April 28), President Obama shut down the idea of violence helping bring peace.
“There’s no excuse for the kind of violence we saw yesterday,” Obama said. “People looting and burning down buildings are not protesting, they are criminals.
